Join Shearith Israel’s Young Professionals for a special Shabbat dinner accompanied by an insightful discussion with the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) on Israel’s constitutional framework and its connection to Jewish identity. The dynamic and timely discussion will feature unique perspectives from:

• Akiba Covitz: ZOA’s Senior Strategist and former Harvard Law School Associate Dean for Faculty Development, Akiba works to better understand the role of Jewish and American identities within a constitutional framework. His dedication is mirrored in his family, with his choice to join ZOA immediately after 7 October, and his son proudly serving in the IDF.
• Elijah Kochin: Bringing a unique perspective as a former IDF lawyer and a recent Upper West Side addition, Elijah, together with his wife, Ellie, are active young professional members of Shearith Israel.
