Join Congregation Shearith Israel and our Young Professionals for a special Shabbat dinner as we delve into the vibrant intersection of art, graphic novels, and Judaism with renowned Batman manager Jordan B. Gorfinkel—”Gorf”. Experience a night where modern superheroes meet traditional Jewish heroes, and explore how artists grapple with and depict the complexities and emotions of Jewish themes and texts. This unique evening promises insightful discussions, a delicious feast, and the opportunity to engage with a master of the comics art form.
We’d love for everyone to join us for services, but if you cannot make it, you are still most welcome to join us for dinner.
