Yom HaShoah: Annual UWS Reading of the Names

Wednesday night, April 23-Thursday, April 24
West Side Institutional Synagogue | 10 pm-7 am

Join Rabbi Rohde in reading the names of the victims of the Shoah, during Shearith Israel’s time slot, 5:30-6:00 am.

This year the JCC has partnered with the Polin Museum of Warsaw and the Memory of Treblinka Project to read names sourced from their archives of those who perished in the Warsaw Ghetto and Treblinka concentration camp. JCC Warsaw will also be sharing names virtually via Zoom at the 9 am beginning of our morning reading at JCC Manhattan, in a beautiful gesture of connection to the global Jewish community.
