Join us for an exclusive screening of an episode of this emotional and intimate 3-part docuseries about the last living Holocaust survivors and their grandchildren sharing their personal stories. The series explores intergenerational antisemitism and confronts the critical question: “Has humanity learned its lesson from the Holocaust?”
This episode includes the story of the late longtime Shearith Israel member Roberto Levi z”l, with appearances from his granddaughters, Shearith Israel members Julia and Olalla Levi. The 40-minute screening will be followed by a panel, including the director, Rachel Tesler, in conversation with one of the featured survivors, Evelyne Appel, and her grandson, Matt.
