On Shabbat Bereshit, we honor our Simhat Torah Hatanim with a lovely luncheon and celebration on Paved Paradise. Our honorees this year are:

Dr. Andrew Arking, Hatan Bereshit

Ernest Grunebaum, Honorary Hatan Torah
in recognition of his service as Hatan Torah in 1976 and 2001, and the remarkable milestone of a third 25-year cycle

This event celebrates our devoted congregants and serves as our Fall Fundraiser. Beyond our usual annual needs, this year’s campaign will help fund an elevator to ensure everyone can easily access the Women’s Gallery, the Social Hall, and the Youth Room.

Thanks to the Stanton family for their major support for the elevator project.

We aim for 100% congregational participation and need several “Essential Elevator Funders” to achieve our goal.
