Treasure hunt, design your own Maccabee shield, waffles, & music!
with Baruch-Lev Kelman, Rabbinic Intern
Sunday, December 3 | 10:30 am-12:30 pm
Embark on a Hanukkah adventure! Baruch-Lev will send you off on a treasure hunt of Hanukkah trivia, complete with a chance to see his fascinating collection of Hasmonean coins. Plus: get ready to craft your very own shields adorned with paper and cardboard coats of arms.
And it wouldn’t be a Shearith Israel Hanukkah celebration without our Western Sephardic “vafele” waffle tradition! Also, this year, we’ll have music by Rabbi Rohde on his accordion accompanied by a special guest, Roni Shitrit, a violinist from Juilliard.
This event is free, but registration is requested, and sponsorships are appreciated!
