Rosh HaShana-Kippur Schedule 5783

High Holidays 5783 Seating Reservations

This year, Rosh HaShana begins on Sunday evening, September 25, through Tuesday, September 27, and Kippur is on Tuesday evening, October 4, and Wednesday, October 5.

Our High Holiday Traditions

On Rosh HaShana and Kippur, the sanctuary takes on a special aura of purity and holiness. The Torah scrolls are dressed in white silk cloaks, and the Myer Myers Rimonim grace the Torah scrolls.

Holiday Offerings

It is our custom to make memorial offerings during Kippur services and offerings of thanksgiving on Succot. These offerings are a beautiful way to memorialize or pay tribute to loved ones and help maintain our synagogue.

Shabbat Teshuba Derasha

Rabbi Soloveichik will deliver an enlightening lecture on the themes of teshuba on Shabbat, October 1.

High Holiday Liturgy

Preview our powerful and unique Spanish and Portuguese liturgy for Rosh Hashanah and Kippur.
