 r\n3 Wednesdays | On Zoom | September 3\, 10\, &amp\; 17 | 7:15-8:45 pm\n
 Cost: $48 per person for all 3 sessions\nJoin the Sisterhood in a virtual\
 , relaxed environment to begin writing some of your life stories. With div
 erse prompts\, you'll create and read your first drafts in a supportive sp
 ace with recommendations for how to take your work further.\n\nOver the co
 urse of three weeks\, you will have several pieces that you can continue t
 o work on. There will also be discussion about the craft of writing and re
 ading suggestions.\n\nWhether you want to write for yourself or for your f
 amily\, no experience is required\, only the willingness to try.\nRegister
  here &gt\;&gt\;\n\n\nJanet R. Kirchheimer is the author of How To Spot O
 ne Of Us\, poems about her family and the Shoah (2007) and Seduction: O
 ut of Eden\, a modern midrash on the Creation story (2022). A Pushcart Pr
 ize nominee\, Janet is the winner of a 2024 Lincoln Poetry Prize. Her work
  has appeared in journals including Atlanta Review\, Potomac Review\, L
 ilith\, Connecticut Review\, Mudfish\, and in several online journals a
 nd anthologies\, including The Forward and The Poet’s Quest for God. 
 Her featured essays include “Make Your Selection\, Please\,” for the 
 JTA\, and “Kristallnacht: How Will We Remember?” for The New York Jew
 ish Week\, and "Sometimes You Have to Walk Through the Door\, Even if Ther
 e is Blood on It" for The Wisdom Daily. Several poems have been transla
 ted into Russian\, and she has given bilingual readings with a Russian-spe
 aking poet at The New York City Public Library. Her chapter\, At the Wate
 r’s Edge: Poetry and the Holocaust appeared in The Handbook of Psychoa
 nalytic Holocaust Studies (Routledge\, 2019).\n
