Once again, Shearith Israel is joining forces with the New York Blood Center and other Upper West Side congregations to donate blood during the winter months when blood banks need it most. Sign up to give the gift of life!

JScreen will be onsite for genetic screening for those interested.

Chatham Square Cemetery

The oldest of our extant cemeteries is known as the Chatham Square Cemetery.  It is located in Chinatown at 55 St. James Place.  The land was originally purchased in 1682 by Joseph Bueno de Mesquita.
