We regret to inform you of the passing of our long-time member, Mrs. Gilda Angel, wife of Rabbi Marc D. Angel, minister emeritus of our congregation; mother of Rabbi Hayyim (Maxine) Angel, Ronda (Dan) Arking, and Elana (Jamie) Nussbaum; sister of Lois Siegal and Judith Schuchalter.
The Funeral will take place on Thursday, June 5th, at 11:30 am at Riverside Memorial Chapel (Amsterdam Avenue at 76th Street). A livestream of the funeral will be available at: https://www.legacycelebrated.
Interment to follow at Shearith Israel Cemetery (Beth Olam) located at the intersection of the Jackie Robinson Parkway and Cypress Hills Street, in Ridgewood, Queens.
Visiting hours during shib`ah will be held at Shearith Israel (2 West 70th Street):
Thursday: 5-9pm (Minha & Arbit at 6:45 pm)
Friday: 9am-12pm
Sunday: 10am-12 pm; and 5-9pm (Minha & Arbit at 6:45 pm)
Monday, and Tuesday: 10am-2 pm; and 5-9pm (Minha & Arbit at 6:45 pm)
Shib`ah concludes on Wednesday morning following morning services.
