About The Course
Begin a course of study that will take you through the books of Prophets and Writings.

Every Shabbat afternoon (one hour and 15 minutes before minhah services) survey thethemes and ideas of the Bible, book by book, until completion.

This class is geared to people of all backgrounds and levels of Jewish education.  All sources will be available in English.

Course Instructor
Rabbi Hayyim J. Angel is the Rabbi of Congregation Shearith Israel, The Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue of New York City.

Rabbi Angel is also a teacher of advanced undergraduate Bible courses at Yeshiva University. 

He has published over fifty scholarly articles, primarily in Biblical studies.  All are welcome to attend.
